City of Mission - Draft Official Community Plan (OCP)
UDI Lower Mainland submission to the City of Mission.
The City of Mission is in the process of updating its Official Community Plan (OCP). Whilst UDI supports the City’s ambition to plan for a vibrant and sustainable future, we have concerns about the practicality, clarity, and financial implications of the draft OCP as currently written. We are particularly concerned that the plan, while aspirational, is difficult to interpret and implement, which could lead to delays in housing delivery, higher costs for applicants, and ultimately, increased financial pressures on Mission taxpayers
