âCelebrating Womenâ in the real estate development industry.
Who We Are
In early 2012, an idea came about from the UDI Membership Committee to advance the concept of "Celebrating Womenâ in the real estate development industry.
The âWomen of UDI Seriesâ was formalized in 2014 to strengthen and build this segment of the UDI membership. This series provides a forum for women in the real estate development industry and recognize women who have made significant contributions to the industry.Â
Facilitated by the Women of UDI Committee, the mandate is to connect women, expand their UDI professional network and increase opportunities to learn from one another.

Principles Guiding The Women of UDI
Everyone is welcome to attend our events.
-
To strengthen and build this segment of the UDI membership by providing a forum for women in the real estate development industry; and to spread the word of this Committee and associated events via word-of-mouth, email and social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook).
-
To hold events which allow UDI members to network and learn from their peers in both the private and public sectors; and to increase opportunities to meet both young UDI members and experienced industry veterans.
-
To continue to build the UDI brand of excellence and make the organization relevant and valuable to all members; to create a âmembership continuumâ that offers opportunities for participation regardless of age or experience level; and to showcase, recognize and highlight women who are experts in their fields or have made significant contributions to the industry.
Celebrating Women
Our flagship reception was an evening full of celebration, fostering meaningful connections, and emphasizing the importance of diversity and representation in shaping our cities and communities.
