The primary focus of this position is to advance and expand the use of wood in construction across British Columbia. The role centers on providing comprehensive support to construction projects and their design teams from initial concept through to occupancy.

The Development Coordinator works as a member of the development team that includes in-house designers and external technical consultants on all aspects of the design and approval process including research, site/building plan coordination, application preparation/submission and deadline management for both the consulting team and approving authorities for multi-family and mixed-use projects across Western Canada.

Responsible for conducting new homeowner orientations and deficiency walkthroughs, explaining home features, maintenance, and warranty coverage. Acts as the main liaison between homeowners and construction teams to resolve issues and coordinate service appointments. Maintains accurate records of interactions and claims, ensures timely completion of deficiencies, and delivers exceptional customer service. Supports homeowner events, prepares orientation materials, and stays informed on construction and warranty standards.

This role will take ownership of large-scale urban development projects from acquisition through to completion. You will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery — from early design and entitlements to construction and final handover. This position reports directly to senior leadership and plays a key role in the ongoing evolution of Landa’s project pipeline and corporate strategy.
