City of Port Moody - Draft ACC and DCC Rates

Referred back to staff

On March 31, Council carried forward draft Amenity Cost Charge (ACC) rates to stakeholder engagement but referred proposed Development Cost Charge (DCC) rates back to staff for further review – with likely adoption in 2027. The report presents two recommended options for DCC rate increases, representing either a 167% or 86% cost increase for high-density units. 

The proposed DCC and ACC rates are as follows:

 

UDI submitted letters highlighting the need for robust financial testing and opposing moving forward with the proposed rates, in conjunction with many other builders.
