UDI wrote to the City of Richmond sharing extensive feedback from members regarding the development process and system requirements of the Lulu Island Energy Company (LIEC). Concerns have been raised relating to challenges arising from increased project costs due to excessive standards, construction delays, and inefficiencies in the approvals process; all leading to viability issues for housing projects and increased home prices for purchasers and Richmond residents.
