City of Coquitlam Proposed Housing Unit Mix Policy

UDI Lower Mainland submission to City of Coquitlam.

In late 2025, the City of Coquitlam proposed requirements to achieve a more family-friendly unit mix. UDI raises concerns that the proposed approach is overly restrictive and would undermine affordability for the average purchaser or renter.
