City of Coquitlam High Density Zones and Rental Incentives

UDI Lower Mainland submission to the City of Coquitlam.

In May 2026, the City of Coquitlam presented on their proposed High Density Zones and Rental Incentives program to align their Density Bonus program with Provincial requirements. UDI commends Coquitlam for maintaining an incentive-based approach, but suggests that other cost-based solutions need to be considered to help improve development viability.
