In Fall 2024, BC Hydro's Rate Design Application to the BCUC listed some items of interest to the development community, specifically the Residential Inclining Block (RIB) rate, the proposed restrictions for third parties being involved in the sub-metering of new residential buildings and net metering. UDI is generally supportive of BC Hydro's approach but recommends certain changes to ensure builders are not being penalized through the approach.
