Township of Langley - Pre-zoning Options Along 200 Street Corridor
Β Β At their meeting on November 3rd, Council directed staff to advance pre-zoning applications without density benefit provisions: Β
- At 2.5 FSR and a maximum height of 6 stories for the identified lands within Gateway that are restaurant or undeveloped on the west side of 200th street;Β
- For remaining Townhouse infill sites within the Latimer and Carvolth Neighbourhood Plans, as it may be appropriate for Council to consider; Β
- At 4.5 FSR and a maximum height of 12 stories for service stations and appropriate applicable infill opportunities north of 80 Avenue within proximity to 200 Street, the Carvolth Transit Exchange and/or the Langley Events Centre.Β
Council also directed staff to prepare necessary amendments to the Subdivision and Development Servicing Bylaw to assist in the implementation of Council-initiated rezoning (pre-zoning) by regulating and requiring the provision of works and services in respect to the development of land.Β
