At their regular meeting on November 18th, Council received the 2024 Interim Housing Needs Report (HNR) for information and directed staff to publish the report on the Township’s website. This interim report updates the Township of Langley’s housing needs in accordance with provincial legislation under Bill 44 – Housing Statutes Act. According to the HNR, the total number of units required to meet the City’s five-year demand is 14,121 while the 20-year housing need is 43,038.
