WorkSafeBC will be holding another virtual public hearing on July 24th “… to require the provision of flush toilets on construction sites with 25 or more workers,” under Part 20: Construction, Excavation and Demolition of the Occupational Health & Safety Regulation. 

There was a public hearing in January, but the WorksafeBC “… Board of Directors requested changes to the draft regulation, and these changes required further public and stakeholder consultation and feedback.”  

WorkSafeBC has released a new draft of the regulation as well as information on the proposed changes. There will be a virtual public hearing on July 24th at 10:00 a.m., and WorkSafeBC has posted on their website how to provide feedback.
