The Ministry of Environment and Parks is proposing changes to fees under the Environmental Management Act regulations. The aim is to update and clarify costs for services provided by the Ministry to assist in remediating contaminated sites and authorizing waste discharges. The proposed fee adjustments will enable the Ministry to address the increasing volume of applications, enhance service delivery, and ensure long-term effectiveness of the programs.
