Provincial - Christine Boyle Appointed as B.C.’s New Housing Minister

As mentioned in previous newsletters, on Thursday, July 17, Premier David Eby announced a cabinet update that includes a new appointment to the Ministry of Housing and Municipal Affairs. Christine Boyle has been named the new Minister, as part of the Province’s effort to better align key portfolios with the needs of communities across B.C.Β Β 

We welcome Minister Boyle to this important role and look forward to working with her to address the cost of delivery crisis and support the creation of much-needed housing across the province.Β  Β 

Ravi Kahlon, who previously served as Minister of Housing, has been appointed Minister of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation. Minister Kahlon has made some impactful changes to support the development industry, and we thank him for his leadership and ongoing commitment to housing issues in B.C.Β Β 

We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the Province and Minister Boyle to deliver much needed housing to British Columbians.Β Β
