Municipal - SSMUH and TOA Implementation

As mentioned in previous newsletters, municipalities are implementing the changes required under the Provincial Housing Legislation before the June 30th deadline. The changes include implementing zoning bylaw changes to add Small-Scale Multi-Unit Housing (SSMUH) options in low-density zones, designating Transit-Oriented Areas (TOAs), and eliminating off-street parking minimums for residential uses in TOAs.Â
The following municipalities have brought forward reports initiating the implementation of these changes:Â

The following municipalities are undergoing implementation of the Provincial Small-Scale Multi-Unit Housing (SSMUH) legislation and designating Transit-Oriented Areas (TOAs):
