Metro Vancouver has released its draft Solid Waste Management Plan for public feedback. The plan outlines a vision for a zero-waste region, with strategies to cut greenhouse gas emissions, support reuse and recycling, and manage residual garbage. Additional feedback is due August 1 and will be included with the draft when it goes to the Minister of Environment and Parks for review.
