At their meeting on July 22nd, Council adopted the annual review of municipal fees and charges in the District of West Vancouver, including changes, additions and deletion of fees charged by the municipality. Most of the updates proposed in the new bylaw relate to inflationary adjustments or benchmarking to neighbouring municipalities.  

Development & Permits:  

Proposed for 2025, is an increase of 4 to 5% in building, electrical and plumbing permit fees to recover costs. For development permits, the fees are increased by 4 to 10% to move from partial cost recovery to full cost recovery.
