District of West Vancouver - Interim Housing Needs Report

At their meeting on December 9th, Council received the 2024 Interim Housing Needs Report (IHNR) for information and directed staff to publish the report on the District’s website. This interim report updates the housing needs of the District of West Vancouver in accordance with provincial legislation under Bill 44 – Housing Statutes Act. According to the IHNR, the total number of new units required to meet the District’s 5-year need is 3,459 while the 20-year housing need is 10,742.
