At their meeting on December 16th, Council approved the proposed Climate Action Strategy and directed staff to continue to enhance and accelerate programs and initiatives to reduce GHG emissions through the implementation schedule in the Climate Action Strategy and request supportive funding through the annual budget process. 

With approval of the proposed Climate Action Strategy, staff are now able to begin implementation of the CAS to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to meet the District’s emission reduction targets.
