At their meeting on January 13th, Council received a report for information on the “Ambleside Local Area Plan: Commercial Areas Progress Report and Next Steps”. Additionally, Council directed staff to publish the report for community input, utilize it for stakeholder engagement, refer it to the Planning Committee for recommendations, and report back in the second quarter of 2025 with a proposed Local Area Plan (LAP) for the Commercial Areas for Council's consideration.
