At their meeting on November 3rd,  Council received the Housing Target Progress Report – Year 2 for information. The report provides progress information relating to the District of North Vancouver’s Housing Target Order, covering the period from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025 as required under the Housing Supply Act.  

The annual cumulative target for year two of the Order is 1,021 net new completed housing units. During this time, a total of 832 net new housing units were completed, which is 189 units short of the provincial housing target for the District.
