At their regular meeting on June 9th, Council directed staff to bring forward administrative amendments to the “Demolition Waste Reduction Bylaw” to further support demolition waste diversion in the District of North Vancouver.  

Proposed Administrative Amendments  

To strengthen the District’s Bylaw, some administrative improvements are proposed. These include requiring a site visit during deconstruction and providing clear photo documentation at key stages during deconstruction (such as before and during deconstruction, and of salvaged materials being loaded for transport).
