City of White Rock - Development Cost Charges Bylaw

At their meeting on June 9th, Council gave three readings to the proposed Development Cost Charges Bylaw amendments. The bylaw will now be sent to the Inspector of Municipalities for approval.

June 20,2024 

At their meeting on June 10th, Council endorsed the draft Development Cost Charges (DCC) program and draft DCC rates for the basis of further public consultation in establishing the updated DCC Rates Bylaw. In accordance with the Province's DCC Best Practice Guide, the City of White Rock has issued draft DCC rates to update those set in 2015, as recommended every five years.

City staff will now gather stakeholder input on the proposed DCC rates through public consultation. Following this, they will draft a proposed DCC Rate Bylaw for Council consideration of first, second, and third readings.
