City of Surrey - Small-Scale Multi-Unit Housing

Adopted

As mentioned in previous updates, on July 8th, Council adopted the proposed Zoning Bylaw amendments to align with Bill 44, Small-Scale Multi-Unit Housing (SSMUH), Provincial mandates.  

The report identifies that the amendments to the current Zoning Bylaw will now enable SSMUH on more than 72,000 properties in Surrey.
