As mentioned in previous updates, on November 17th Council gave third reading and final adoption to the proposed amendments to the Official Community Plan to further streamline and simplify the urban design review process for development applications, leading to reductions in development approval times through waivers for Form and Character DPs for some townhouses and industrial projects and the introduction of a “DP Light” for townhouse developments that meet certain parameters.
