City of Richmond - EV Charging Infrastructure Requirements for New Non-Residential Buildings

Adopted

At the September 5th, 2023 Public Hearing, changes to the City’s Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure requirements for new non-residential buildings were adopted.

Projects are permitted to submit a Building Permit application in compliance with prior requirements if a Development Permit was issued by Council prior to adoption, or within one year of adoption with an acceptable Building Permit application also having been submitted.
