City of Richmond - 2024 District Energy Utility Rates

On November 27th, 2023, Council adopted proposed changes to the Alexandra District Energy Utility (ADEU) Bylaw, the Oval Village District Energy Utility (OVDEU) Bylaw, and the City Centre District Energy Utility (CCDEU) Bylaw. The rate increases are intended to keep annual energy costs for Lulu Island Energy Company (LIEC) competitive with conventional energy costs, based on the same level of service. Changes to District Energy Rates would come into effect on January 1st, 2024.
