On May 26, Council directed staff to report back on what a process and timeline would look like to consider a recalibration of the population projections in the OCP. The report noted that Development Cost Charges (DCCs), utility rates, parkland requirements, and community amenities are all driven by these population numbers, and continuing to rely on inflated projections could result in higher-than-required fees.
