City of Port Moody - Housekeeping Amendments on EV Charging

Adopted

At a Special Council meeting on March 4th, Council adopted amendments aligning regulations with BCBC changes on adaptability and clarifying requirements for Electric Vehicle (EV) charging. EV charging requirements clarified that the infrastructure is also required where parking is β€œprovided”. This change intends to clarify that when parking is provided, regardless of whether the parking is required or not, supporting infrastructure also must be provided that can meet the relevant charging standards in the Zoning Bylaw. Β
