City of Port Moody - Heritage Procedures Bylaw
Third Reading
On June 9, Council gave three readings to the new draft Heritage Procedures Bylaw. For properties with existing heritage protection and Community Heritage Register sites city-wide, the proposed changes confirm Council’s ability to temporarily withhold permits until appropriate approvals for redevelopment have been issued, directing staff to work with the applicant to make additional efforts to find a way to conserve the heritage building.
