City of Port Moody - DCC Payments for In-stream Applications

On January 27, Council endorsed a policy clarifying that Development Cost Charges (DCCs) may be collected at the excavation permit stage. Under the policy, projects that obtain an excavation permit and pay the initial DCC instalments before March 22, 2026, may lock in current DCC rates. This measure is intended to address the upcoming Metro Vancouver DCC increases.
