City of Pitt Meadows - Development Permit Delegation Bylaw

Third Reading

On December 5th, 2023 the Development Permit Delegation Bylaw received First, Second, and Third Readings. This new bylaw delegates to the Director of Planning and Development the authority to issue development permits for recently introduced environmental, natural hazard, and farmland protection development permit areas in the OCP. The new bylaw also allows the Director of Planning and Development to approve amendments to development permits that were originally issued by the Director.

Development permit applications that can be issued and amended by the Director must conform to the relevant development permit area guidelines within the OCP.
