At their regular meeting on July 13th, Council directed staff to forward the completed Housing Target Progress Report to the Minister of Housing and Municipal Affairs, and that the report be published on the City’s website. The City of North Vancouver has surpassed its annual cumulative housing target for Year Two, with 838 net new units completed between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026, for a cumulative total of 1,385 net new units. This exceeds the Province’s Year Two cumulative target for the City of 1,190 net new units by 195 units.
