City of North Vancouver - 2024 Interim Housing Needs Report

At their meeting on December 9th, Council endorsed the 2024 Interim Housing Needs Report (IHNR) and directed staff to publish the report on the City’s website. This interim report updates the housing needs of the City of North Vancouver in accordance with provincial legislation under Bill 44 – Housing Statutes Act. According to the IHNR, the total number of new units required to meet the City’s 5-year need is 6,606 while the 20-year housing need is 21,301.
