City of Mission - Development and Subdivision Control Bylaw

As mentioned in previous updates, on February 20th, Council adopted proposed amendments to the Development and Subdivision Control Bylaw. The changes include introducing a new Rainwater Treatment section that sets out water quality targets for the release of rainwater in the City’s drainage system and introducing the option of deferring certain servicing requirements to future phases of subdivision and development.

The new water quality targets are introduced for the release of Total Suspended Solids, Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons, Metals, Nutrients, and Coliforms. On February 5th, Council gave three readings to proposed amendments to the Development and Subdivision Control Bylaw.
