City of Delta - Proposed 72 Avenue Corridor Pre-Zoning

Adopted

As mentioned in previous updates, on November 3rd Council gave final adoption to the proposed amendments to the Delta Zoning Bylaw to introduce a new Townhouse Zone and pre-zone portions of the 72 Avenue Corridor to the new TH-2 Zone to encourage lot consolidation and the development of future townhouse projects.

July 22, 2025

At their meeting on July 7th Council received a report for information on the proposed City-initiated pre-zoning for the 72 Avenue corridor. As part of the CMHC HAF commitments, the City is reviewing opportunities to allow flexible zoning which would include the opportunity for future townhome projects along the 72 Avenue corridor.
