As mentioned in previous updates, on December 16th, Council adopted the proposed 2025 Utility User Rates that include an update to the water service connection fee for connections 19mm or less installed at a property line for a serviced lot from $5,586 to $6,000.

At their meeting on December 2nd, Council gave three readings to the proposed 2025 Utility User Rates. Staff are proposing to update the water service connection fee for connections 19mm or less installed at a property line for a serviced lot from $5,586 to $6,000. Additionally, staff are proposing to include a new category for water service connection fees highlighted in yellow below:
