City of Coquitlam - Small-Scale Residential in Southwest Shoulders and Corridors

Adopted

July 13th, 2026

On July 6, Council adopted changes as a result of the Small-Scale Residential in Southwest Shoulders and Corridors review that was completed on May 27, 2026. As a result, several properties that had been under consideration for higher density land use designations in June 2025 - and accordingly assigned the R-3 zone - will remain designated "Small-Scale Residential", and no longer meet the criteria to remain zoned R-3.
