City of Coquitlam - Development Procedures Amendment Bylaw
Adopted
On May 27th, Council adopted the Development Procedures Amendment Bylaw, proposing delegating a series of authorities related to development approvals processes to reduce processing times.Â
Relevant changes included the ability to delegate authority for staff to review minor development variance permits that are within 20% of the relevant bylaw value and not associated with a Council review Development Permit. The maximum value for delegated development permits increased from $500,000 to $1,500,000. Temporary use permit extensions can also be delegated as outlined in the report.Â
More information can be found in the full report by City staff.Â
