At Council-in-Committee on March 3rd, Council received a report for information on the Coquitlam Efficiency and Modernization Program – 2025 Work Plan. The report consisted of an update on the progress report from the 2023 Work Plan, and proposed projects for the 2025 Plan. 

Proposed items for the 2025 Work Plan included:  

• Implementing an eAgenda program for Council agendas; 
• Introducing additional public-facing online and digital tools include: 
• Online tree permits; 
• Digital letters of credit; and 
• An eProcurement system. 
• Assessing options for a safety and disability management system; 
• Expansion of online collaboration tools to share, track and deliver items on the 2025 business plan; 
• Conducting a feasibility analysis and applicable implementation plan on business intelligence tools and a corporate dashboard; 
• Renewing and streamlining field tablet usage; and 
• Improving communication tools for emergency management.
